Change the default language of my map

With the CartoVista Server, you can set the default language for your map.

     The published map will use the server language and not the one selected in the CartoVista publisher.

     For the map to be in French by default (for example), the server language must be French by default as well.

     With the CartoVista Server, you can set the default language for your map. However, your user will be able to change the language with the drop-down menu if needed in the CartoVista Viewer.

     To do this, follow these steps:

     1.- Log in to the portal,

     2.- Click on the user icon at the top right corner (between the CartoVista logo and the alerts logo).

     3.- Click on "System Parameters".

     4.- Click on your server name and properties and choose the language you want as the default language for your map.

       The map will be published in the default language. However, the user will still be able to change the language with the drop-down menu when consulting the map.
