      Installation and Configuration of Active Directory Support 

      This article describes how to install the Active Directory Support security framework.

      The CartoVista server security system was designed with the flexibility to integrate with other security frameworks such as Microsoft Active Directory (AD). 

      When installing the CartoVista Server, the administrator must specify the Active Directory domain name to use. This domain should be visible from the web server where CartoVista Server is installed.
