Adding text to your map allows you to take notes that will be useful for your analysis.
Text
The settings available to edit a selected text are:

Select the font size from the drop-down list. |

Set the font colour and opacity. |

Apply a bold, italic or underline style. |
 |
Apply a halo to the selected text and set its colour. |
 |
Select None to display no fill. Select Solid to display a fill. |

Set the fill colour and opacity. |
 |
Select None to display no border. Select Line to display a border. |
 |
Set the stroke colour and opacity. |
 |
Select the stroke width from the drop-down list. |
 |
Add a name to the selected feature. The information will be displayed in the Information panel, data tip and label
